The goal of this project is to design a skyway between buildings or across busy intersections in order to facilitate students moving around the Drexel campus. These skyways are intended to lower the time making students’ campus life more convenience by creating better ways to cross roads or between buildings with a skyway. Three potential locations were chosen to design skyways for. These locations were chosen due to the potential improvement to ease of movement around campus. The final results of the project will be a blueprint and computer model of the proposed skyway.
Update 5/6/25
The skyway is going to be located over the intersection of 33rd and Market. It will connect the the buildings on the corners with each other and will also have an end that connects to the walkway. Over the center of the intersection there will be a large platform that will have seating and possibly tables.
